A new Ordinance to amend and supplement some normative acts that regulate the financial support activity from non-reimbursable external funds, in the context of the crisis caused by COVID-19 was adopted.
The new regulatory framework stipulates that if a beneficiary of state aid with the status of legal enterprise that does not fit into the category of SMEs has submitted a single application for financing, the amount of the working capital grant may not exceed 150,000 Euros at the date of payment of the grant.
The funds for working capital grants for beneficiaries will be allocated from the state budget and do not include co-financing from beneficiaries, and the terms and conditions for granting are approved by order of the Minister of Economy, Energy and Business Environment, as a provider of state aid.
At the same time, the managing authorities allocate funds within the regional operational programs for urban and rural development between the administrative-territorial units with the status of county seat municipalities, municipalities, sectors of Bucharest and cities, according to integrated urban development strategies, within the objective “investments for employment and growth ”.
