At the end of last week, the Law 87/2020 was adopted, to amend the Land Fund Law no. 18/1991.
Thus, the land related to the constructions built by the former agricultural production cooperatives, inter-cooperative economic associations, organizations and entities of the consumer cooperatives, are registered upon request, in the property of the current owners. The conditions that they must meet relate to the ownership of the constructions from the date of acquisition until the date of requesting the registration of the property right. For the land related to the construction, the property right must not have been constituted or reconstituted.
Also, the current owners must prove the registration of the real estate in the agricultural register, as well as the payment of up-to-date taxes and fees.
In the case of lands related to the dwelling house and household annexes, which were not cooperative, their owners or heirs may request to the county commission, the issuing of the title deed, if the land is owned by the state and the territorial administrative units and the applicants have the quality of owners of the constructions.
