An ordinance introducing measures to strengthen discipline in construction has been adopted.
According to the new measures introduced, in case of constructions executed without a building permit or with non-compliance with its provisions, representatives State Building Department will observe these violations and will notify the specialized departments with control powers of local public administration authorities of counties, municipalities for the acts committed in the administrative-territorial unit, which will summon the landlords to dismantle them within 48 hours after receiving the summons.
If the summons is posted in a visible place on the building, the 48-hour period starts to run from the time of posting recorded in the official report.
Also, if the summons is handed to the landlord or to another person at the location of the construction, the landlord is obliged to forward it immediately to the landlord. In case of refusal to receive the summons by the landlord or the person at the construction location, the summons shall be posted in a visible place and a report shall be drawn up.
If the landlord does not comply with the summons within 48 hours from the moment of notification, the removal shall be carried out within 30 days from the expiry of this term by the local public administration authorities of the place where the construction is located, and the expenses generated by the removal operation shall be borne by the landlord.
