Romania’s Cyber Security Strategy for the period 2022-2027 was approved, as well as the
Action Plan for implementation of Romania’s Cyber Security Strategy.
Romania is present on map of cyber attack targets, constantly facing, both complex attacks,
which aim to obtain strategic advantages or financial benefits, with potential major impact on
national security, society and economy, and attacks which use common malware and exploit
widespread vulnerabilities that affect the economy and society.
Cyber security is responsibility of all actors involved, namely: public administration
authorities and institutions, private entities and citizens.
Cyber security is based on establishing an appropriate regulatory framework, being
strengthened through pragmatic international cooperation.
For Romania, cyber security of networks and information systems is a priority, especially
those in the fields related to essential services, as well as those with critical values for
national security.
