In the context of a labor shortage and in the conditions of gradual resumption of economic
activities, the introduction of measures that will stimulate the return to work of persons
entitled to benefit from child raising allowance and the monthly allowance will ensure the
necessary labor force for economic activities.
According to the GEO, the persons who obtain income before the child reaches the age of 6
months, respectively 1 year in the case of the child with disabilities, benefit from the insertion
incentive in the amount of Lei 1,500. The amount of Lei 1,500 is granted until the child
reaches the age of 2 years, respectively 3 years in the case of the child with disabilities.
Also, they have the right to an insertion incentive in the amount of Lei 650 if the entitled
persons obtain income after the child reaches the age of 6 months, respectively 1 year in the
case of the child with disabilities.
The right to the insertion incentive ceases starting with the day following the one in which the
child has reached the age of 3, respectively 4 in the case of the child with disabilities.
