The decision on the Integrated National Plan in the field of energy and climate change 2021-
2030 was adopted.
The European Union is committed to leading the global energy transition by meeting the
targets set by the Paris Agreement on climate change. Moreover, in order to guarantee the
fulfillment of these objectives, each member state was obliged to send to the European
Commission a Draft of the Integrated National Plan in the field of Energy and Climate
Change.
The ministries and other specialized bodies of the central public administration, as well as the
local public administration authorities have the obligation to carry out the measures specific
to their field of activity in order to implement the policies provided in the Integrated National
Plan.
The financing of the implementation of policies and measures is ensured from the budgets of
the public institutions / authorities involved within the budgetary provisions approved
annually for this purpose, as well as by absorbing non-reimbursable European funds and by
ensuring the necessary financial resources for public co-financing of projects financed from
this source.
