The law approving the procedure for preparing reuse of waste electrical and electronic equipment, technical requirements for preparing for reuse and the reporting and monitoring requirements for reused electrical and electronic equipment was adopted.
Preparing for reuse of electrical and electronic equipment takes place before the product becomes waste, and preparing for reuse takes place after the items become waste.
Once ready for reuse, electrical and electronic equipment ceases to be waste and can be sold or donated as refurbished equipment to consumers interested in such equipment.
Consumers have the right to fair and transparent information on the process of preparing for reuse, the repairs carried out, the warranty and the conditions for granting/terminating it, the after-sales service and how to resolve complaints after the sales process.
Reuse operator is responsible for all activities carried out in the reuse process.
