The new regulations specify that the formation of the examination commission for the
certification of specialists as energy auditors for buildings consists of 7 members certified
energy auditors for buildings, professional grade I, construction and installations, being made
on the basis of written proposals, at the written request of competent authorities, by the
higher education institutions of architecture / constructions / installations for accredited
constructions and representative professional associations in the field.
The examination commission carries out its activity with at least 5 of its members and takes
decisions with the vote of the majority of the members present.
The activity can be carried out by physical presence at the headquarters of the competent
authority or in a headquarters chosen and communicated by the competent authority or in the
online environment, on an electronic platform provided by the competent authority.
In case of extension of the practice right, in order to continue the activity, the energy auditor
for buildings registers with the competent authority, at least 30 days before the expiration
date of the card, but not earlier than 90 days before the expiration date, a request for the
extension of the right to practice.
