At the end of July 2020, the Order for the approval of the Accounting Reporting System on June 30th, 2020 of the economic operators as well as for the completion of some accounting provisions was adopted.
The accounting reporting system as of June 30th, 2020 of the economic operators applies to the entities to which the Accounting Regulations regarding the individual annual financial statements and the consolidated annual financial statements are applicable, approved by the Order of the Minister of Public Finance no. 1,802/2014, which in the previous financial year registered a turnover higher than 220,000 lei. Also, the accounting reporting system applies to the persons to whom the Accounting Regulations compliant with the International Financial Reporting Standards are applicable, approved by the Order of the Minister of Public Finance no. 2,844/2016, which in the previous financial year registered a turnover higher than 220,000 lei.
Thus, the entities have the obligation to prepare and submit accounting reports on June 30th, 2020, to the territorial units of the Ministry of Public Finance, regardless of the form of organization and form of ownership.
The entities submit the accounting reports to the territorial units of the Ministry of Public Finance, in paper and electronic format or only in electronic form, on the portal www.e-guvernare.ro, having an extended electronic signature attached.
