Following an Emergency Ordinance issued in March 2020 requiring public authorities to receive electronically signed documents, an Order was published regulating the manner in which, at the level of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, electronically signed documents are issued and received.
Petitions, requests for hearings or requests for information of public interest, made by electronic means, shall be received and resolved even if they are not signed with an electronic signature.
In the event that the electronically signed document must be printed on paper, this physical form must bear the words “in accordance with the original” and be signed with the handwritten signature by the person making the printing.
