
A new GEO was adopted to complete GEO no. 70/2020, regarding certain measures, in the context of the epidemiological situation determined by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, for the extension of some terms, for the modification and completion of some laws.
It is provided that starting from October 1st, 2020, the applicability of health measures, generated by the imminent risk to the health of the population, caused by the epidemic of SARS-CoV-2 virus, will be extended until December 31st, 2020 on the territory of Romania.
In this context, by derogation from the provisions of art. 337 para. 2 of Law no. 95/2006, regarding health care reform, distance medical consultations provided in primary and outpatient health care, is granted and validated without the need to use the national health insurance card or its replacement documents.
Also, the settlement of dialysis services will be carried out within the amounts allocated in the budget of the Fund for this purpose.
In the budget of the Single National Health Insurance Fund, in accordance with the law, additional amounts are allocated for the priority settlement of medical leave granted to persons for whom the quarantine or isolation measure has been established.
