The procedure for the allowance settlement for days off granted to parents was approved
The procedure regarding the settlement of the allowance granted to parents for days off, in the event of limitation or suspension of teaching activities due to the spread of Covid-19 was
published at the end of last week.
In order to benefit from these provisions, children must not be more than 12 years old or 26 years old in the case of children with disabilities. Only one parent can benefit from these days off.
For each day off, an allowance of 75% of the basic salary for a day shall be paid, limited to a maximum of 75% of the average gross salary corresponding to a working day. This allowance is subject to taxation and contributions and is settled by the State.
Not granting the days off is sanctioned with a fine ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 lei, for each person, limited to a maximum of 20,000 lei.
The request for settlement must be accompanied by the following supporting documents:
a) the list of employees who benefited from the days off, as well as the indemnity granted during this period;
d) proof of tax payment and social insurance contributions, social health insurance, as well as the work insurance contribution related to the allowance for each day off.
c) the declaration on one’s own responsibility of the employer’s legal representative;
b) copies of the payment statements and timesheets showing the granting of the allowance for each day off;
