Amending law of Article 34 Labour Code was adopted.
According to the new amendments introduced, Art. 34 para. 3 Labour Code, provides that
level and speciality of studies completed are among the identification elements of employees
in General Register of Employees.
Article 5 also has two new paragraphs providing that General Register of Records is
accessible online for employees/former employees, with regard to data concerning them. The
right of access is limited to viewing, downloading and printing this data, as well as generating
online and downloading an extract from the register.
Length of service can be proved with the extract from the general register of records, under
the conditions established by Government decision.
New amendments are also provided for in Article 7, where methodology for drawing up the
general register of employee records, entries to be made, conditions for online access by
employees or former employees to data in the register, including conditions for proving
seniority, and any other elements related to their preparation are established by Government
decision.
